The Alpenglow Village sites are the best of both worlds. Out their front doors they offer easy accessibility to amenities such as the camp store and bathhouse with views of Pete’s Pond and our Donut Hole recreation area. Out back the serenity of creek views and sounds are enjoyed fireside on the treelined the bank of Brushy Creek. This village is the one nearest our barnyard where you can meet and feed our resident goats. It includes our communal Vintage VIP section with our nostalgic ’56 Little Gem and VW Weekender campers, built-from-scratch A-Frame trio built by us with a little help from our friends, and our full hook-up RV lane.
Located in our communal Vintage VIP section of camp in a shady grove are Lil Gem our 1956 Schiebout Little Gem camper and Beauty a VW Weekender Westfalia Wolfsburg edition camper van. Both are restorations in process, but are super cute, clean, and fun. Meant for romantics who appreciate things with some age and who know how to treat a delicate lady. As such, we do not allow pets or children at these sites. They share a fire pit under the trees and have a view of the pond, as well as, our resident goats, and are a two minute walk from our lovely bath house and camp store. They are the pride and joy of Camp Holly co-owner and vintage enthusiast Misha. Previously, this section of camp was reserved for our friends and family, but we feel its too cool not to share.
The built-from-scratch A-Frame trio created by us with a little help from our friends; Cabin Béla, Amália, and Frances. These cabins were built for use by our children and our guests. They each have distinct décor reflecting our children’s unique personalities.
Cabin Béla has a traditional cabin feel with vintage flare. Inside is kitchenette with retro studio fridge, microwave, small sink, and coffee maker; queen sized bed; full-sized sleeper sofa; recliner; TV; and dining area. This cabin has an additional wi-fi booster, but dosent always have Wi-Fi. But if you step outside there’s lots of WiFi. This cabin has electric fans and space heaters. This cabin is great for families and pals to share.
Cabin Amália is a funky artist retreat. Inside enjoy the creek view through the back wall of midcentury styled windows while relaxing on the antique full-sized bed. There is a desk for your creative needs; a snack area with retro studio fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle, and a French press. The sitting area offers space for a second or third guest to sleep on the twin daybed. This cabin is the perfect place to curl up and read a book or write your own. This cabin is electric only with no water. It has electric fans for cooling and an electric “wood” stove/fireplace for heat.
Cabin Frances is our bunkhouse. It is furnished with rustic This End Up furniture. giving it that summer camp feel. A relaxed space for kids of all ages to sit up talking and playing cards. This cabin has one outlet for charging your devices as well as the cabins like get and box fan. This cabin is rustic with no water. The cabin accommodates up to three guests with its bunk bed and twin daybed. Want to bring a bed roll or cot and add a guest you are welcome to do so.
